Have you ever had an aah haaaa moment ? When things just became a whole lot clearer in your view? I did today. As I drove Zoey to her new home with Tim and Ann in downtown Athens (they moved), we began to talk about what her life has meant to me as her MIMI. She listened very quietly as I told her how she has been such a light in my life since becoming my first grandchild and only granddaughter. She has always been there when I was going through some tough times...and yet, she loved me through them with her sweet spirit and care for me. There was a song on the radio called TEAM.....and she said, We are on the same team Mimi. Well, I dont know about you, but that comment was my moment. I truly believe we are to tell a child their worth and I did tonight (as I have in the past). Hurts and rejections never crossed my door with my Zoey standing guard over my heart. She believes in the best in me.....she sees the real me and loves me just as I am. I got to see her new bedroom at the new home tonight......she was so proud and so was I.......She is a joy to my heart and has been from the start...........so, we are on the same team. Yay God. Thank you for putting us on YOUR team too.
