Have you ever had this happen to you??? Twice now (both emergency situations) I have had moms I didnt know step in and help me with my kids. Im scared to take the twins in public by myself for fear I cant save them both in an emergency. Have other moms needed help occasionally? Id like to hear the crazy stories, it would make me feel more normal. It takes a village... Here are my two horrifying stories when my twins were younger: At 18m, one wanted out of a park swing while the other darted towards a parking lot! Another mom grabbed my runaway as I wasnt fast enough (and Im in decent shape!) When they were 8 months I was holding one and sitting next to my tipsy stander who was in a red wagon watching a parade. My dog got into a fight and I was pulled away from the wagon. A lady calmly came up and scooped up the baby in the wagon (he would have easily fallen out head first onto the concrete) and another mom offered to take the baby I was holding so I could get the dog settled. Both instances left me shaken and upset. They are 3 now and Im still nervous in public. ~Anonymous Mum
