Have you ever heard of Pantry Moths? I hope not. I never had, so I just spent all weekend, with the help of my husband and, eventually, reinforcements from my daughter and her husband, performing stage one of their eradication. We thought we had some stupid gnats, but NO...it was this special kind of nightmare. I have always kept a very well-stocked pantry, which is why I now have seven huge trash bags of food And paper goods I no longer trust sitting on the curb. Larvae and cocoons everywhere hidden. Apparently these moths can come in with your groceries as microscopic eggs. Beware! They are good at hiding and BAM, you are infested.
