Have you ever heard of the popular game “Where in the World is Carmen San Diego”? Well, we would like to spin that game and tailor it to nurses. “Where in the World Wednesdays” calls for nurses to submit photos of themselves at various locations. The location can be your place of work (duty station) or deployment site, etc. Please make sure that the background is seen so that we can showcase all the wonderful places we work and contribute to the diverse profession of nursing. Those of you who have a Facebook account may be familiar with “Throwback Thursdays”. Throwback Thursday is the name of a weekly social media posting theme that users participate in as part of a very general throwback activity for posting content. In this case, the throwback theme can pertain to basically anything that happened in the past. We would like to encourage anyone that is a nurse to submit a picture in uniform or in a clinical setting that has occurred in the past. Please make sure that you include your name, agency, and the location of your particular site. Dont be shy! Lets share with the rest of the nation what our fabulous nurses do every day to bring positive impact to vulnerable populations.
