Have you ever met someone because of a tragedy however you could not imagine your life without them? I have met so many wonderful wonderful people as a result of this horrific tragedy our family has gone through. However I absolutely love every person that has helped us in this journey. And I am so glad I have met all of you. DJ & Sarah Durkin are two of those people. I dont know why God put us on their heart so heavily, but He did. They created a foundation called The Why Wouldnt We Foundation, and launched the Wheels for Wyatt campaign. Many of you probably do not know this, but before Wyatts accident we knew we were going to outgrow our van. Plus it was breaking down every other week. Being a thrifty family it was difficult, however we were starting to save for our first ever vehicle payment. As you can imagine this got put on the back burner as soon as everything happened. As a matter of fact it wasnt even on the back burner, it absolutely was not even on my mind. Once Wyatt came home from the hospital and we started using a nurse, if we wanted to go somewhere as a family we would have to take two vehicles at all times. Plus my van did not have a middle seat next to Wyatt so whoever was watching Wyatt while we drove would have to either sit in the very back or the very front and reach to help him if he was in need. Without us ever mentioning the van to others God provided as he always does. And thanks too many donations from YOU ALL to The Why Wouldnt We Foundation we are now the proud owners of a Toyota sienna that seats eight! I cannot explain the emotions we have gone through by all of your sacrifice for and care of our family. Brad and I have never ever in our entire life been on such the receiving end of so much support and love. Thank you everyone who has prayed, supported and donated to Wyatts recovery. Now we can all ride together as a family as well as not be concerned if our van will break down! Thank you, we plan on paying it forward and cannot wait until we can bless someone else as you all have blessed us!!! Love our #warriorsforwyatt . PS first thing I did was put my pray for Wyatt magnet on the back of the van!
