Have you ever noticed that whenever someone within a government agency, i.e., the IRS, CIA, Congress, etc., refers to themselves as the Government, they seem to think that the government is a separate entity from the American people. For example, I was reading an article recently about how the IRS would be losing tons of money in the next few years because of the Affordable Health Care Act owed to the Government from the Taxpayers. I had to stop and think about that for a minute. I seem to remember someone very famous once saying that this was a government formed of the people by the people and for the people...so when it agencies within our government become separate from the government? When we pay taxes we are paying into OUR organization for OUR benefit...not for the benefit of a government agency, and at times I resent the fact that government agencies and lawmakers see themselves as distinctive from the average American citizen.
