Have you ever questioned WHY someone suffers? WHY when the Lord can take it all away do things happen to those we love or even to us.....I wont lie, I have thought this many times in my life. This time of year we reflect upon our lives and come closer to the Lord or we waver off and leave him. I have seen many times in my life where I have done this my self or seen loved ones. Why do we do this? I have to wonder if it is because we can not ride a fence, we have to decide who we will stand with or who we will not. The other day I listened to a speaker and he said that a study was done with a group of kids and when asked what they would do when faced with (and he listed off about 10 different obstacles or trials in life) that they would rather end their life. Super sad to me. Sad that they dont look at the reward of Overcoming or Faith or the opportunity to struggle to find a way that works. Just was not a first thought.....of course WHO WANTS to struggle, but......END IT??? Today we had two people in our ward speak in church and they mentioned these trials we have HAVE A PURPOSE, and on the way home this song came on.....LISTEN TO THE WORDS.
