Have you ever seen a picture or portrait of someone and it seems their eyes follow you as you move around the room. That is what I felt tonight as I walked and prayed. Every time I looked up there were two twin stars that seemed to be peering back at me no matter where I was on my walk. The verse that came to mind and challenged me was Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good. That again challenges me to personal righteousness but also comforts me that God sees and knows the wickedness of those who seem to be trying to destroy our nation. I am no better than any other man but it eases my mind to know God sees and knows and is in control. The scripture says in Ecc 12:13 Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. 14 For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. It may seem that evil is winning right now but God, and we His children have already won the war.
