Have you ever seen this commercial? Well, that was me today. I was by myself at work (basement of a bank), when I decided to vacuum the offices. As I was going about my business vacuuming, I tripped on the cord and lost my balance and went down. At first I was stunned, I had never fallen like that. Then I tried to get up and my hand was injured so I couldnt brace myself without the hand to get up. After about a half hour of trying, I dragged myself to my cell and it died as soon as I touched it. So I had to drag myself even further to get to the land line. By this time I was in tears because I felt so helpless. I finally got my friend in the bank and he came down with one of his employees. He helped me up, thank God! When he answered the phone, I said exactly what this lady says, Ive fallen and I cant get up! Now its funny, but right then, ummm, not so funny - I dont like that feeling of helplessness.
