Have you ever wondered how much money goes through the till of a shop? It’s Independent Retailer Month UK so here’s the knitty gritty: so far this year a little over £25,000 has been spent here. The shop’s bills have come to over £22,000. The small gap in between is what I live on and it’s not really possible to live on so little. This is a plea to people who value having a place for classes, groups, events, advice on yarn choices and pattern selections, help understanding patterns, a hub for knitting news & projects and yarns both cheap and luxurious which you can’t find in the chain stores, which you are able to touch and feel and see and even smell in person as you can’t online: please shop here.
