Have you ever wondered how the people who are in your life ended up there? It’s because each of us follows our own personal “People Diet,” which, like a food diet, is a social plan for all of our relationships. Think about it, who are the staples of your People Diet? Who are your guilty pleasures, and who are those we count on for balance and health? Are there people who refresh you? Are there people who leave a bad taste in your mouth? If you’ve ever observed a well disciplined food dieter, they are very selective with what they eat because they understand that good health doesn’t just happen randomly. They know what foods yield benefits and which foods do not. The major premise of The People Diet is who you allow into your life can be far more significant to your health than the foods you put into your body. Whether a person is food or people dieting the goals are the same: balance and good health through good choices.
