Have you ever wondered what it takes for that boy to get out of - TopicsExpress

Have you ever wondered what it takes for that boy to get out of bed everyday? for him to get up and look in the mirror and not be happy at whats looking back at him. If his anxiety is on a good day and he manages the first task of the day; getting ready to please everyone and change his appearance as much as he can because hes constantly being told he looks too gay and he feels the need to hide the fact hes underweight because hes sick of people mentioning it and how disgusting it is, even splashing out on Dior foundation so they wont start about the scars on his face. Hell then light up his first cigarette of the day hoping it will help to calm his nerves. People seem to enjoy leaving him out, ignoring him and making a big deal that on bad days he cant face getting himself to college to be treated like this; to have people talk about him behind his back on how he should be kicked out. That boy will try to laugh it off if he can manage to but sometimes its all too much as hes also a carer for one of his parents, battles with self-harm daily, has a lot of people who rely on him; some with a few difficulties and has to stand infront of a mirror all day feeling so insecure about himself and to hear it whispered about. At the end of the day he will get back and will have a few too many drinks to try to forget about it and to help him sleep so he has the energy to maybe get up the next day and go through it again. Thats my story. I did something about it a few days ago and my anxiety is already thanking me, tell somebody if people are like this to you.... it has more of an effect on you than you think
