Have you ever wondered why or how a small business started and where they got their inspiration from, or even where you can buy there products? Well, as promised, here is our first interview with a local business. Would love for you all to pop over and see more of Erins creations. Dont forget to click that like button while you are there :) https://facebook/Ezza2012?fref=ts Ezzas Inner Child Creations Ezza’s Inner Child Creations is run by me, Erin, a stay at home mum of 2 beautiful girls. The business was started back around 2011-2012 when I fell pregnant and got bored at home. I had previously worked a fast paced job assisting in Production Management and was very social so staying at home was a huge challenge for me. I had spent a lot of time alone as my partner worked in the mines so we would spend months apart. I would spend alot of time just researching and looking at different businesses. I didn’t want to be the same; I wanted something different, unique, something that would stand out! Once my partner had returned home, we would talk about different options that I had. None really stood out. It was in the following weeks, looking at the baby products lying around the house that the idea hit me, that unique storage solution that would start Ezza’s. I started creating, (I’ve been sewing since I was little) every day my partner would come home to a new design. He saw the excitement and encouraged me to give it a go and that was when I took the leap and started my very first facebook page Ezza’s Inner Child Creations and launched my truck design. It took off - that Christmas I had orders coming from everywhere and before I knew it Ezza’s was expanding. I decided markets was the way to get my product out there and got invited to an EXPO in Adelaide which then lead into applying and appearing at some of my very first markets around SA such as Barossa Light Childrens Market (now known as Little Star) Kooky Kidz and La De Da’s. Over this time I have faced some big challenges in my personal life as well as business but it just continues to grow which I am very grateful for. The SA Market and More group became a huge part of my life and continues to be a supportive group. I became a Major Sponsor for Little Star Family Market in Gawler this year and am enjoying being apart of the SA Market Community. I have also now taken over ownership of SA Market Bags. My passion for small business and the market scene has grown considerably over the last few years. There are so many wonderful businesses and products and I believe we all should have a supportive community to be able to make our businesses shine! I am currently studying a Diploma in Business and Management, expanding the 2 businesses, and playing mum. Life is extra busy but I hope I can inspire others to reach for the stars and know anything you put your mind to you can achieve. Favourite products - way too many but here is a small selection Thank you so much Jo for showcasing my business and know that you and the forum you spend so much time working on has been was one of the building blocks in my journey xx
