Have you had good intentions about getting into church, but it - TopicsExpress

Have you had good intentions about getting into church, but it just hasnt happened? Sometimes even our best intentions just never seem to become a reality. But God is worthy of our worship and our praise, and He never intended for us to walk this walk alone. We can not do all that God has called us to do separate from the body of Christ. The church is where we hear Gods Word proclaimed, it is where we are held accountable, it is where we bring our tithes and offerings, it is where we are discipled, it is where we fellowship with the saints, it is where we serve and use our spiritual gifts, it is where we worship, it is the bride that is being made pure and holy for the bridegroom, and so much more. Many will contend that you dont have to go to church to be saved. Yet, while you can be saved anywhere at anytime.....the saved will then desire to be a part of the body of Christ. Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. So....its a new year. Its a time for new beginnings. What better way to start the year than to find a church home, that you can be a part of? If youve had a bad experience at a church....pray and ask God to lead you to the right one. We should never let that become an excuse to remain outside of the fellowship. Christ loves His bride and He has forgiven our sin. We too must love the bride and be forgiving of one another. If you live in or near Lawrenceburg, I personally invite you to join us at Sovereign Grace Church. We are a body of believers who love the Lord, love one another, love His infallible Word, hold one another accountable, and work together to spread the Gospel and make disciples in our town and all around the world by giving and going. We are located next to Tractor Supply and we have Sunday School for all ages at 9:30am and worship at 10:45am. May you have a blessed New Year!
