Have you heard?? As of October 1, our members are the proud collective parents of one bouncing baby local food cooperative! Representatives from our Board of Directors have signed the paperwork with the former owners of The Northwest Regional Food Hub.The Mid-Columbia Market has officially contracted to purchase the business and guaranteed our continued operation at our 603 Goethals location through September of 2016. Now we can truly take pride in the ownership of our very own cooperative, and will also serve as a food hub with a centralized business management structure that facilitates the aggregation, storage, processing, distribution, and marketing of locally produced foods. As far as Facebook is concerned, we will all be heading over the the shiny NEW page! All of our paperwork and websites say The Mid Columbia Market, and we think this should match! Starting this week, well be posting everything on the new page. Please follow us on over there so you dont miss any fabulous updates. Also, Im going to need your help to spread the word!
