Have you heard about the TPP? The Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) is currently being negotiated in complete secrecy and it will affect the world. If the TPP is fast-tracked by the president, we will be in a world of hurt as the TPP is the mother of all Monsanto Protection Acts. It will give Monsanto, and other corporations, the power to sue entire countries to force them to accept their products. We can say goodbye to our current GE Free Zones in Canada and it will include an international ban on GMO labeling. Countries involved in the TPP include the U.S., Australia, Brunei, Chile, Canada, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Singapore and Vietnam. It will also affect the upcoming Washington state’s I-522 in November. Say goodbye to country/state/local GMO crop cultivation bans. The TPP will allow corporations to sue any government that prevents barriers to their trade “rights.”
