Have you heard about the Tyler Special? The sandwich is carved steak with pickled red onions, cilantro, fresh jalapeños, pickles, chili aioli, and sweet chili sauce on toasted ciabatta. Tyler, a student at The Buckley School, has been ordering this BYO since we opened in Sherman Oaks, and all his friends started ordering it as well. They petitioned Office Manager Molly to convince Chef Judy to put his creation on the Mendo Menu, so we decided to support Tyler and bring on his sandwich as a special at Sherman Oaks during The Buckley Schools Spirit Week! $1 from every Tyler Special sold March 14-23 goes to Magbit Foundation (the charity of Tylers choice) to provide interest free loans for qualified students in need to be able to go to college.
