Have you mistakenly narrowed the scope of Dua? When making dua - TopicsExpress

Have you mistakenly narrowed the scope of Dua? When making dua as a little kid you might have asked Allah (swt) for your favourite toy or candy bar, or to be the first team pick in gym class, or for your parents not to find out about that spitball that mysteriously ended up on the back of your teacher’s neck… When we think about these Duas, they might seem silly to us now. We have been programmed to think that we can only ask Allah (swt) for the “important stuff.” But just as there is no Dua too big for Allah to respond to, there is no Dua too small. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “You should ask Allah for all of your needs, even if the strap of your sandal breaks” (Tirmidhi). We could learn a thing or two from the kid version of ourselves! It’s time to reevaluate your Duas – are you truly relying on Allah (swt) for ALL your needs as the Prophet instructed us to do? Allah wants you to turn to Him for ALL your needs, great and small. Register today for Visionaire Online 2015: VisionaireOnline
