Have you noticed how much we spend on legal fees when republicans are running the government? You almost feel sorry for Zoeller...nah. Right to Work is a sham pushed by corporations and the Koch brothers through their bill-mill, ALEC directly to corporate whores (republicans) in our statehouses. Bottom line is, RTW appeals to companies wishing to relocate here and pay the minimum wage possible to Hoosiers. If that is your only selling point as a governor, then you are in trouble. It means you have to peddle low tax, low regulation, and low wages to prospective corporations. They arent relocating here because of our great amenities, or quality of life, or highly skilled work force. Pence is forced to compete with other Teapublican governors because conservative policies have created a dirty state with incomes stuck in the 1990s and low quality of life. The corporations coming here are bottom feeding. Period. Nonetheless, our TeaPublican governor says, I can tell you that as we tell Indianas story around the country and around the world that economic freedom in the workplace, our balanced budget, low taxes are all equal parts of a real winning message for Indiana. Economic freedom in the workplace means limited ability of workers to bargain collectively for better working conditions and living wages. Our young educated workers are leaving Indiana en masse heading to more progressive communities. While Hoosiers are sleeping, republican leadership has turned Indiana into another state in the Deep South. If you dont think it can get worse, just wait...
