Have you prayed today? Have you committed your ways into Gods hands? This New Year as always in the things of God, your background will never define your tomorrow. Your family history has no part to play in what God has in stock for your life. Ask me how I got to know this. My Bible records in Judges 11:1-3, NKJV that: Now Jephthah the Gileadite was a mighty man of valor, but he was the son of a harlot; and Gilead begot Jephthah. Gilead’s wife bore sons; and when his wife’s sons grew up, they drove Jephthah out, and said to him, You shall have no inheritance in our father’s house, for you are the son of another woman. Then Jephthah fled from his brothers and dwelt in the land of Tob; and worthless men banded together with Jephthah and went out raiding with him. Even though this was Jepthahs family history, it never stopped God who uses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise from using him. COME ON NOW!!! God took Jepthah who was considered a no body by his society in his days and raised him to the position of a Head and commander of the army of Gilead and Israel. My God!!! You can then imagine how far the LORD my God will take you this year if only you put your total trust in Him in Jesus name, Amen. Let us pray.
