Have you read this morning’s article in the IV Press entitled “Supes approve some department’s appeals at Budget Hearing (different title in the Press’s E version) This is a waste of taxpayer’s money. The Sheriff’s Office is now going to pay this lady hundreds of dollars more, each month, just to do the exact same job she was hired 3 years ago to perform. The Sheriff’s Office brought her in from Ventura County to run the Corrections Division and now she is being given a better sounding title and a lot more money. This is a waste of County funds and should be reconsidered.
