Soybean Science Kit Training 2014 The Wisconsin Ag in the Classroom and Wisconsin Soybean Program welcome Fred Henderson, Education Consultant and developer of the Soybean Science Kits, back to Wisconsin to conduct Soybean Science Kit training for teachers and volunteers. The trainings will be held in conjunction with FFA Farm Forum at Hotel Mead in Wisconsin Rapids. Trainings will be on Friday, February 21, from 9:30-5:00 and on Saturday, February 22, from 8:00 – 3:30. Room size is limited – only 24 will be able to attend each session so sign up now! No charge for the training due to the support of the Wisconsin Soybean Marketing Board. Lunch is included. This hands-on training workshop will enable teachers, Ag in the Classroom volunteers, 4-H agents and club leaders and others to become more familiar with the lessons and the opportunities for learning that the Soybean Science Kit offers. There are 74 sponsored kits in the state that are available for teachers, extension, volunteers and home school parents to use in educating students about science and agriculture.
