Its important to note that if you have simply no idea who or what to vote for on a particular issue, you dont have to vote. Just skip it, no big deal. There are a few things on the ballot that I think are pretty clearly cut and I would encourage you to vote for. Vote for Eric Schertzing for US Rep. I work with Eric, know him well, and think he does a great job. Hes not overly partisan, he uses common sense and he gets things done, often with pretty innovative ideas. Vote yes on the millage to support parks and in particular expansion of our river trail system. Vote yes to fund the Ingham Health Plan to make sure everyone in Ingham County has access to affordable health care. Vote yes to sell the two pieces of city property - in both cases, there is a buyer in mind that would serve the interests of the community well, Peppermint Creek Theater and Delta Township Parks, respectively.
