Have you wondered about the mentality of a criminal----especially a murder? Do most of them spend most of the time before trial blaming everyone else? How do they persuade someone to pay for bail? If the person had more of a heart----not necessary a total good super-ego-----does s/he get nervous a lot? This person has to contend with these nutcases, share a cell with one of those nuts and have no sense of emotional support. All I see on TV is characters devoid of emotion a when the verdict is given like in The Practice and Law & Order. It looks as if one has to some capacity be heartless to survive. Do criminals only get an hour of sunlight daily and have to spend the same hour take a bath every couple of days as it is in the movies? There are shows in which the older criminals------serving life---have a better perspective of it.Those people try warning the criminals in training about life behind bars. To some capacity,the older convicts seem to have some type of emotional growth, but that is just TV. Are they paid the $7 a week like other convicts who work? (Commission had them when I was there.) Manson has been in jail since the Supremes were Diana Ross, Cinder Birdsong and Mary Wilson. The kids had to have felt as if he stuck out like a sore thumb. I wonder if the Kennedy Cousins knew the kids of MLK and Malcolm X. All of those men were killed in the 60s. I cant imagine being in Sharon Tates familys shoes. The baby she carried, was due in late 69.. That is so sad and mystifying. , Roman Polanski, molested a 13 year-old in the 70s. Now, he is married to someone who is a couple of years older than I. Polanski was born during FDR and she,during LBJ. For decades, he has been in another country to avoid jail time in 77. My father is 9 days older than Roman. Roman has got a son and daughter. What does she tell the kids?
