Havent slept in 5 days do to severe strep throat... called to make a Dr. appointment 4 days ago and the earliest they could get me in is tomorrow. Feels like I drank a cup of broken glass mixed with shavings of broken razor blades! Ugh!! Hurts so bad... its now started effecting my ears. Ive gargled and rinsed with warm salt water daily, sprayed my throat countless times with cloraseptic spray, and have been trying to eat soft foods, soups and drink soothing liquids. Night time is the WORST... i cant help but swallow every 5 seconds and every time I do the pain is so bad there is no going to sleep. Any suggestions?? I need an antibiotic bad and I dont want the Dr to say well we have to swab your throat, then send it off, and well call you in 3-5 days with the results . I need something now, not in another week!! :(
