Having a Spirit of Honor The Honor you pour on others will become the Blessing that comes back to you. You will never receive what youre not willing to give away. Romans 12:10 Be kindly affectionate to one another with brotherly love, in honor giving preference to one another Take delight in Honoring each other. This should be on the forefront of our minds, Who can I honor today? The amount of honor you show others will be directly related to the honor God shows you. God commands you to be Blessed when you Honor others. The Scripture says, its more Blessed to give than to receive. When you have a Spirit of Honor it gets Gods attention. Start with your family. Make them feel special. Make them feel Loved. When youre generous with your Honor, all will go well with you. Pour out the oil of honor, thats what releases the favor. Set out to Honor others, your co-worker, strangers, friends, family. Make them feel special. Simple things can Honor people. When you pour on the oil of Honor it always flows back to you. Take delight in Honoring others. Dont miss opportunities to be good to people. Some people are quick to express the negative and withhold the positive. Dont miss an opportunity to talk good behind someones back. The second hand compliments can be more powerful than talking directly to that person. If you hear somebody talking about someone you know, dont just sit there and take it all in. That Honor quiets the negative. Sometimes the way you show Honor is not to stir up negativity, just be quiet. Go to work, get there on time and do more than you have to. Keep having that Spirit of Honor. Keep doing your best. Be your best with a good attitude. Talk good behind peoples back. Look for opportunities to be good to people. Take time to write the note, send a text, make that call, show up and help out.
