Having a bad day. A box of my original origami designs - some of which I only had one or two examples, in that box - was a casualty of soldiers ransacking (sorry, inspecting) a truck belonging to a private courier. Some people lost iPhones, clothes, car parts, etc. I doubt the origami was stolen; I am guessing the box simply got left out (or thrown away) when the soldiers put things back in the truck. Only one or two of the models in that box made it to Monterrey, stuck into another box of origami (some of which was smashed, crumpled, etc.) - which means that the box was opened and gone through, and its contents mixed with other boxes, before being discarded or forgotten. On the bright side, I only lost one box out of many over the past few months, I dont have Ebola, I have food, shelter, income, and many other blessings that many people lack. And I can take this loss as an incentive to create new origami designs. I still feel sad, though.
