Having a description of what occurs during election day and actually being apart of the machinery that gets the job done are two totally different things... Today I can now say that I have gained some experience and now have a greater appreciation, value and understanding of the sacrifices made by many. On 4th November for the St. Joseph by-election I had the distinct pleasure of being a member of a Team :)) Nigel (team leader) Kenwrick Darryl Richard Diana Tracey Ms. Marcia Ms. Pearl Ms. Charlene and ME :)) If we had to find a name for ourselves as one member stated it will be scrambled eggs (se). We all had distinct roles but we all filled in the gaps by doing whatever was needed at the time. Team SE really demonstrated TEAM (together each achieve more). I gained a crash course in providing election day transport, as an election day runner, verifying names on the list for persons who made a request. Being stationed at one location helped me to observe my surroundings... I saw things I would not have seen in passing and heard a language I hope is not a common reality... All in all it was a valuable experience and I am so happy to have met all the members of Team Scramble Eggs :)))
