Having a discussion with a friend who happens to be Muslim sparked by the Bill Marh Ben Affleck dust up over radical Islam and the atrocities taking place in the name of religion in Syria and Iraq. It occurred to me to ask this question. Why does Ben and his ilk get so exercised about a perceived slight to Muslims who are not Radicalized while remaining virtually silent on beheadings/ convert or die/ the treatment of women etc and the like? Why are Muslims in the west just as restrained why is there no outrage to be seen? If you have a thoughtful answer I would like to have a civil discussion on this subject.
