Having a hard time finding sleep tonight. So much on my mind. The loss of a classmate makes me realize Im at that age when it becomes more common to loose friends and family. My issues seem somewhat small in compairison. Lost our dog 7 months ago and found out today my sweet 9 month old shepard has displaysia in his elbows and is missing part of an elbow joint. So his life will be very mellow and lots of love. Then to boot I hear a comotion out a chicken coop. .. things seemed ok till I notice my three chicks alone..moma chickens stick to their babies like glue and will die protecting them...well I guess something challanged her and now shes gone! One of my favorite girls. Whats crazy is I didnt see any of her feathers or sign of a struggle. Circle of life. I guess living on 2000 acres there are lots of hungry critters out here. Tomorrow is a new day! I know there will be laughs goin w/ folks to see Jerry Seinfeld. So I have that to look forward to. My prayers to all that are here in body and those who are here in spirit! And they are always around us. Make sure you say hello now and them. The hear us!
