Having a publicly listed phone number on a website etc is one of the worst things you can have. I get no less than 8 - 10 calls a day currently from various call centres trying to sell me everything from property investment to power to website design to whatever else you can think of. One particular mob has called me 4 times this week, once a day. I abused the living daylights out of the guy yesterday and he assured me he would remove my number from their database, just now I get another call from some woman there that had no idea how to deal with the verbal abuse I dished out at her and her employer. Surely youd think they would get the hint?
