Having a sense of humour is not an option for me; it is an essential part of who I am. Cracking a joke, making fun of something, being sarcastic etc, is like breathing oxygen for me, I dont even have realise I am doing it. Unfortunately, I have realised that it is also very un-Bangladeshi to find humour everywhere. For example, go to a Bangu hospital, and you will find everyone surrounding the patient looking like someone has already died. I never understood this. Isnt the whole point to try and cheer your sick friend and make her feel better? Why does everyone have to look constipated and make the patient feel like he is already dead? Bangu manei gombhir hoye boshe thaka, karon hasha hashi kora mane tumi immature. If that is really what it means to be Bangu, I must be the most firingi Bangu in the whole world
