Having already been enlightened by careful and discreet observation both over many long years in Japan as to how to formulate, execute and adhere to a well-conceived plan until the end, inasmuch as an end itself can be readily defined, and here, particularly the persons and circumstances instigated by the same which led squarely and directly to the collapse of the national will and indeed to any reasonable or noble endeavor at the most local of levels, all of it placed at our doorstep by the wasted years of foolish nonsense of verbal activists and their toxic viper venom of useless meetings where the dashing of our hopes for stability were being imposed on one hand, and a complete lack of honor or loyalty to our thousands by this same bunch of do-nothing, good-for-nothing lazybones extraordinaire on the other. But there was not a second today that I pondered what might have been if I and we had not laid so much faith in this sorry grouping of lying liars and their schemes for so long which amounted to a big nothing, as your people again responded in earnest, bringing hands to iron across all three phases of Greening, Cleaning and Graffiti Remediation on both 60 Street from Roosevelt Avenue north until the LIRR entrance, then again on 52 Street between Skillman and Roosevelt Avenues, and for a fleeting instant, I could observe, off in the distance, our brothers and sisters in Sunnyside where verbal activists and the ancient organizations in which they have overrun, now totally infected with the lazy virus of wholly expensive and impracticality for the lives of ordinary people, but there was not even a faint thought of this depressing state of affairs having invaded and corrupted my mind or soul. Incidentally, we know those poor souls trapped in rapidly gentrifying communities are with us as we restore confidence and willpower to resist the temptation to seek our fortunes elsewhere, and soon they too will join us in the common struggles. Thus the various teams coalesced, the Green Guerrillas with Tray and Shaun and Deshaun and Josh, who immediately impressed me with his desire to being powerful hands to iron, as well as TreesNY with Cheryl and Sam and their team pruning another 22 trees in Woodside for the long term benefit of our home, and with Bin from the Partnership for Parks virtually rounding out the primary array of experts who have instructed us on discharging our freedom friendly enterprises, yet could you not conceive of a greater goal for the sloth and idle hands of verbal activists than to have us fail just at the precise moment our great revival was close at hand? No. Never again in this little place on earth shall we permit ourselves even scant opportunities to reduce our guard or lower our desire to live freely under the maxim of simple tasks repeated often until perfect and repeatable by others, because, and this is they key point to remember: a great reversal of fortunes is persistently upon us, and our victory over everything that pitted man against the other is henceforth contained in barren lands where bitter weeds thrive and simultaneously far away from you, the great and good people of Woodside who may, from time to time, repose in comforting and reassuring thoughts that every potential effort is even this day being conducted. These assertions, it is hoped, will be judged according to your will and keen ability to see the truth. (08/22/14)
