Having been born and brought up in Armed Forces, I at least seem to have enjoyed a sense of entitlement that amounted to a feeling of superiority. Civilians were always other, mullah were by and large trouble, trader had to watched carefully cheating and greed, businessmen who shared the cantonment clubs with us were slightly suspects.
