Having being a failed poultry farmer this is my thoughts on the buss. When Teresa and I went into buss the top pay was 5.65 if you came in on top. The poultry companys were selling chickens for 61cents a lb according to the ms market bulletin. I sold my houses and 17 yrs after the top pay was 5.65 its still about the same even though butane has quadrupled and electricity has tripiled and the up keep on houses that old was substantial.now you would think they could pass some of that to the farmer but all they want from the farmer is to be sure and keep them in debt co,s are getting 108 a lb according to the ms weighted avg. All the companys pay Alabama growers more than ms farmers.When you get suckerd into a co like Koch by someone you thought was a friend you,ve cut your throat. All comes back to greed on his part and mine. When you sell a friendship for 2200 dollars your,re scum of the earth and a company like Koch that should be called crooks for cooking the books like they do should be run outta the state. Along with the wanna be from Sylvarena,liar and crook. Or put in jail like his old man. To me for the money you invest its the sorriest buss you could ever get into. This is just my opinion which is like everyone else. We all got one.
