Having ducked out of comic collecting in 1991, I picked up an occasional comic before re-establishing my addiction in 2007, and it looked like I missed out the really bad years. I picked up this issue, but couldnt work out how they could do a homage cover harking back to the introduction to a new team, which turned out to be brilliant. So expectations were high for similar reasons, only to get a bloke with maggots and a bird with chunky bones....what on earth were they thinking?
