Having gone through my own health scares in 2006, I feel Im pretty well-tuned to when the universe tells you that, despite your best plans and desires... life sometimes has to get in the way. I had been planning on moving into my own place within a few weeks, but after last night, I cant see that happening in the foreseeable future. And while I love my folks and accept my role in caring for both of them... I really do wish right now that I had a sibling who could help with some of the burden. Its taken 4+ years to arrive at this point, but right now its really beginning to feel like its too much. I probably just need some sleep.
