Having grown used to the moustache that somebody graciously set on his portrait (the one that presides over WD’s graphic novels section), it was kind of weird to see Javier Marias’ clean face again. After last Tuesday’s presentation in Madrid of his latest novel “Asi empieza lo malo”, WD had an opportunity to talk about a future visit to our place or his long due (at least in our opinion) Nobel Prize award and conveniently skipped the subject (and any potential controversy) of his new look.
