Having in the past been programmed by the ego, the ego tries hard - TopicsExpress

Having in the past been programmed by the ego, the ego tries hard to remain our first response. Some of the ego’s tools are judgment, stress, and anger, and thus when we answer in this manner, let us remember that it is not our truest-self answering the call, but our programmed-self. The idea today is not to judge yourself as bad or not good enough for judging yourself or others. The idea today is to catch yourself doing so quicker and quicker, thus spend less and less time supporting a programmed thought process we no longer want. Once we consciously catch ourselves ‘acting’ as who we have been programmed to, we take a deep breath, we release the past and return to the present moment, we forgive ourselves and others, and we offer gratitude for this opportunity to recall and practice our truth and find peace. We recall that when we express our true essence, peace of mind, compassion, forgiveness, joy, and love flow through us. And so on a daily basis let us practice catching ourselves not expressing our truest selves quicker and quicker. With practice, little by little, we realize that judgment and self-judgment no longer need to be supported by us, that all we need do is release our past programming and a return to conscious awareness of the present moment and the truth in all of us.
