Having involved at the food festivals in the most rich areas of London with wealthy people visited the events, I noticed all sort of characters..people who are actually rich and look rich, people who wants to be seen rich and people who are rich but still humble about their wealth... Whilst having my lunch break yesterday in between cooking demos, the area was full of rich people with their children and suddenly I noticed this young boy (maybe about 10yo) who wore fluorescent jacket and he was helping his dad collecting rubbish around the area! He didnt bother about other rich children but was so committed helping out his dad. 30 years ago that boy was me but doing different thing. I was helping out my late mum at her food stall while other village kids were busy playing. I was her favourite amongst my elder sister and younger brother to help her out. At times I felt and thought like she was punishing me for being naughty but the exposure of getting involved at very young age in a way inspired me to have my own business. We were poor and she made sure my education comes first. She will only ask me to help her once I have finished my homework. So the good things you have experienced when youre little will project a better and wiser life after youve grown up. You learn from past experiences but mistakes sometimes are unavoidable. Again, you learn from them and never to be repeated. You work hard if youre employed by someone but you will work harder if you own the business. When there is a time for you to have a break, then switch off and re energised.
