Having lived so many different places growing up I always am taken aback when I have to answer questions for my kids about things like weather, seasons, and nature. It isnt in the forefront of my mind but every once in a while I remember, theyve lived here all their lives... in a hot Texas city with very few natural areas. Our seasons consist of varying degrees of hot. Last year at my dads was my sons first time to go to the beach. I know there are places around here I can take them, but it all seems so far away, and hot... lol. Sigh! More frustration...
