Having relocated from Australia to London, and with our stuff in the boat on its way, I cannot wait for the cast iron skillet to arrive. Here in London, its hard to find cast iron cookware as it mostly seems to be aluminium/coated, non-stick cookware (Jamie Oliver has something to answer for cause he promotes this) and in some instances you might be able to find stainless steel. You might be aware of the health aspects of aluminium and non-stick, if not in summary: they are not good for your health so spend the extra and buy fewer but better quality cooking items made of stainless steel or cast iron. Heres why cast iron is a good choice.
