Having sent you the books that I did I just realized it would be unjust for me to not tell you about how I feel about the crude dishonesty of my act . Since you have asked me to suggest stories or books which objectively deal with human nature , I am left to say that all stories are borne out of human nature & its response to circumstances . Often circumstances are results of human nature . So every such book is inevitably a book about human nature . Philosophers might afford that objective pretension of being disjointed from the trivial stories but at the end of the day all they do is to identify patterns of those trivial stories. Some times the writers of the stories try to be as objective as they can . And sometimes such objectivity is left to readers alone. I personally enjoy every work that is honest & while stories can exist by themselves , I feel that , philosophy needs stories upon which it can base opinion. What has touched so many should hopefully touch you. Probably, critically acclaimed books will work if you do not want to risk losing time for nothing. So , check among them .Every such book has a page. Goodreads provides a decent rating system (IMDB) . Take help of Google - Check for lists( 50 greatest life changing books , or 32) . 32 should work better. As much as one would like to not have a career out of a Short Introduction kind of thing , the truth is our life , its information & wisdom, has always been in greater parts Sedimentary & following that for only a handful of Madmen has metamorphism worked. I feel that you are not looking for philosophy but psychology ( or analysis) . Nevertheless ,The short introduction on philosophy ( amazon.in/Philosophy-Very-Short-Introduction-Introductions/dp/0192854216 )is an authoritative work . Similar books on Existentialism , *Psychology , Post- Modernism showed up. Pick up a theme, or a philosopher , that touches you & expertise can follow.There are decent forums & threads for philosophy. Love JC
