Having spent the last three months trying to get an amazon business seller account set up ( having provided them with all of the valid information on numerous occasions) despite 6 phone calls over the past few months. I have decided to give up and stick to selling on our own website and also on our ebay business account. We spent a considerable amount of our time listing our products on Amazon...they have not been visible to anyone for over two months ( as Amazon have been verifying information!!!!????) Not once have they contacted me to let me know what additional information they require. I contacted them this evening to request that they close the account down as it is next to useless to us and we did not want to get any charges from them. ( for listings they were not showing!) I got this email back from them..... So before we will close your account please : * Downgrade your selling plan to the Individual seller - you can do so by log in into your Seller Central > Settings Tab > Account Info > Selling plan > clink on the button Modify Plan. Please note that this step is important, we can close only downgraded accounts * Set your account to “vacation status” which will make your listings inactive. To do so please go to your Seller Central > Settings tab > Account info > Listing status > click on Edit button. * Delete all yours listing from the Inventory – this way we will make sure that none of your offers will appear to customers on our webpage Once you have met all the steps, please come back to us by creating a new case via your Seller Central > Contact Seller Support and one of our representatives will close your account. Thank you for you cooperation and energy invested and I would like to wish you all the best with your future business. Thank you for selling with Amazon. So all I can say is thanks for nothing Amazon.....I also closed my personal Amazon account with them as a result of their complete incompetence ( not that I ever buy much via Amazon). Rant Over! Lets hope the rest of this week gets better.....
