Having supplied both my national insurance number and my British passport number to Carol Ling at Bromley Council, she has replied refusing to include me on the register of electors. I have therefore been disenfranchised even though they now have sufficient evidence I exist and am entitled to vote. I wonder how many more people will be struck from the register of electors and refused the basic right of a citizen unless you appear on whatever government database, as a direct result of a rule introduced by the Coalition government, which includes LibDems????? I will not renew my party membership as I have effectively ceased to have the basic rights of a citizen.
