Having three kids in 3 different colleges right now, my advice would be to please make sure that you have had many conversations with your kids through the years, especially as they are older. They do need to form their own opinions, create their own values, and find their own place in life. However, the colleges really are working to form your kids thinking, and it is in such subtle and sometimes rather blatant ways. You may agree with it, you may not, but at that age, you can do nothing about it. There are agendas in the schools and these are such impressionable minds! The saying if they stand for nothing, they will fall for anything certainly is relevant here!
