Having volunteer coached for over 25 years this is so true. But I wouldnt trade one second of my time with my girls. I have awesome memories and gained lots of kids I still consider to be mine. And I think most still appreciate and like me! If you arent able or willing to put on that shirt and volunteer, PLEASE dont run down those who are doing their best to give your child or grandchild the opportunity to develop and use their skills. Not just win and lose but learn those lessons in life that come from team play.
