Having watched the Utd v Liverpool game live on TV and then again in the MOTD highlights I have to say with all seriousness that Utd need to reign in their euphoric state. Liverpool had a lot of possession in that game and actually got through on goal quite easily at times. It was only very poor finishing from Sterling and Ballotelli and De Geas saves that stopped them from getting something out of the game. Its been shown that Mata was clearly offside for the second Utd goal but the strike from Rooney was a very good one. As for the third, that was just extremely poor marking from Liverpool. My conclusion is that a very poor Liverpool side could have beaten a Utd side that is good in attack but still very suspect at the back. And that is why neither Utd or Liverpool have a cat in Hells chance of winning the Premier League this year. Mike mcfc.
