Havnt updated in a while- been such a hectic time recently but absolutely loving it! A massive well done goes out to all my kids and all the kids involved in the Strabane Feis this year- too many to list though very pleased that everyone got either a 1st 2nd or 3rd Well Done!! Really enjoying the brass band scene at the moment after recording a great CD with Strabane Concert Brass and a fantastic concert with David Thornton (Euphonium) in Omagh Academy last week! I had the pleasure of Directing my first play recently aided by the wonderful Jenny Patton- an experience I thought I would have never enjoyed but I have learned so much (missed sitting behind a piano though)! Also I have the pleasure of teaching an OCN Course at the Alley on Monday evenings- this FREE course for teenagers in musical theatre supported by the playhouse in derry is a fantastic opportunity for all involved and its FREE!! Great to have that kind of funding in our town! Been mental busy with the Strabane Chapel choir with confirmation just passed but we pulled it out of the bag-- would love to see everyone at our rehearsals leading up to Easter though (cough holy cross students cough) Had an amazing time singing at a great friends Sisters wedding--- and an even better time at the reception all this with a great time teaching at home, working with the tuned in project derry, glenside atc etc! Have to say at the moment I am very thankful for being so busy, a lot of people have had faith in me and have given me a good step up- namely Rois Kelly Lynch at Muchado Stage School who is an inspiration to any self employed person working in the arts and Leah McCay from Class Act (and holy cross) who has given me great support over the past while and to anyone else who has taken a punt and given me any help/advice over the past few months there are too many to mention! :)
