Hawk has learned a new trick already this morning. Hes such a fast learner ! His nurse Rachel put his rain stick toy beside him and he pushed it over. The first time I think he was reaching for it and when it fell it startled him. But I cheered and encouraged him to do it again. Its a great cause and effect exercise so he will connect the fact that he pushed it over so he should not be scared of the noise. So we kept doing it and he kept knocking it down! And both directions. And he stopped jumping when it fell. He was getting sleepy while eating his 1pm feed. He had a week or so after surgery when he did not take a nap but it think hes getting back to naps so thats good. And hes been going to bed around 9! Its been great. Tonight we are going to church for our Easter service. So excited to celebrate our risen and living Lord Jesus! Please send up extra prayers for our buddy Tripp Halstead, hes having a rough day. Love them so much. I hope yall have a great Easter. Katie
